The Cowden Medical Group in Cowden will be offering school and sports physicals on Friday, July 28th from 8:00 am - 12:00 pm. No appointment needed. Cost of the physical is $20.00 cash only. Physical examinations are required for students entering Kindergarten, 6th grade, and 9th grade. Sports physicals are required for any stuent who wishes to participate in extra-curricular activities.

Cowden-Herrick announces Mrs. Jaclyn Golding as “Staff Role Model of the Year”. The Staff Role Model of the Year is selected during the final month of the school year by the Jr. High and High School staff members. This year’s winner is Mrs. Jaclyn Golding. She will receive a $100 cash award donated by Aaron & Devi Hawes on behalf of Lockart and Green Funeral Services. Mrs. Golding teaches K-12 Art for CUSD #3A. She enjoys painting indoor and outdoor murals, including work done for the Cowden and Herrick communities. Her hobbies include, painting, running and cooking. She resides in Cowden with her husband Tom and children, Abby TJ and Ellie. Congratulations Mrs. Golding! We are proud to have you as a part of our team.

She is the Sophomore Class Sponsor. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends and working with her flower garden. We are proud to have you as a part of our team!
